About Dead Sea Tours

This site is a small independent catalog of Dead Sea day trips that leave from Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and Amman: Masada and the sea, a sunrise hike with Ein Gedi, a half day on the beach, Bethlehem, and the Jordan shore with Madaba, Mount Nebo and the Baptism Site. The Dead Sea tours comparison puts them in one table.

Why the catalog exists

Two Dead Sea tours can carry nearly the same title and still give you a very different day. One includes Masada entry and the cable car, another sends you up the Snake Path and leaves the park fees to you. One spends an hour and a half at the beach, another six hours at a resort.

One has a guide, another a driver and an app. This site reads those differences off each listing and sets them side by side.

What gets read on every listing

The price and what it buys, the length of the day, the time at the sea and which beach, where it starts, the entrance fees you still pay on the day, guide or driver, food, group size, age and health rules, access for wheelchairs and strollers, documents, and the cancellation terms. Ratings and review counts are the platforms' own figures. Facts about the sea come from Wikipedia and UNESCO, climate figures from Open-Meteo.

Where a listing says nothing, the page says so too.

How we work

We compare tour listings, official visitor information and recent traveller feedback. We do not operate or personally conduct these tours, sell tickets or take payments, and we have not been paid to rank any trip. The editorial pick is the listing that gives the most of what most first-time visitors come for, with the deepest review record behind it.

Prices and terms are re-checked quarterly, and a dated note sits at the end of every price comparison.

Corrections

If a price, a pickup point or a rule has changed, email [email protected] and the page gets corrected. See the contact page.
